Greg Mason

Greg is the Treasurer of Australians for Mental Health. He is a retired chartered accountant with lived experience of mental illness and a passion for raising the quality of care for those suffering its impacts.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne he worked with Deloitte before moving to Albury where he ran his own accounting practice for thirty years.​

Depression has been part of his life for many years resulting in early retirement from accounting in 2016. He now operates a farm at Glenellen, thirty kilometres north of Albury NSW, and assists a number of voluntary organisations.

He is married with six children and two grandchildren. One son has suffered mental illness and has benefited from care at Orygen Youth Health and the Melbourne Clinic.
