To create a real solution to the mental health crisis that is facing Australia we must be guided by real people and their lived experience.
At Australians for Mental Health we are working to create spaces for honest conversations all over the country about our shared mental wellbeing, what's impacting people in communities, and what can be done to change things for the better.
We've already kicked off these conversations with:
- A Virtual Town Hall discussion ahead of the Tasmanian state election
- Our community organising project "Geelong Talks Mental Health"
- LEAP - our Lived Experience Advisory Panel
Keep an eye on this page for future events and if you would be interested in creating a space to talk mental health in your area please contact Simon Black at [email protected]
